Nita Ambani, the notable philanthropist and owner of the IPL team Mumbai Indians, graced the Wankhede Stadium with her son, Akash Ambani, for a high-profile gathering. Joining them were Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor and Sid Malhotra. Among the spectators was Sakshi Dhoni, the wife of former captain M S Dhoni, who was also present at the stadium. Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya, unfortunately, sidelined from the World Cup due to a left ankle ligament injury sustained during a league match against Bangladesh on October 19, was also among the spectators at the exciting semi-final clash.

Virat Kohli created history by breaking the 50th-century record of Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. The entire stadium stood up to give him a standing ovation.
